Took less than 2 weeks to come via UPS. Got the gear driven adjustable one. Great mill! Improved my efficiency about 10% from another LHBS. The better LHBS uses this exact same model. I over paid on paypal when my SWMBO ordered and there was a refund check in the box with the mill.

I also have a Schmidling Malt Mill for grinding as needed (I made beer for 20 years, but that hobby is no more, thank the Lord.) I did bid on a new OLD stock Retsel on ebay but only succeeded in doubling the price for someone who truly wanted it.

I have a Schmidling maltmill non-adjustable I have used for 8 years. We run 100+ lbs through it for each brew session. Worked like a champ. I recently "upgraded" to the gear driven model to avoid the occasional hiccup we encountered when the free roller did not engage the grain. I do not see changing the gap setting from the default much if ever.
